Who you'll be supporting & more about the role:

Our Home -
We live in a beautiful wheelchair accessible ground floor only bungalow.

Although the drive is not wheelchair or leg friendly as it is steep and curved so muscles are essential part of the role.


  • Our front garden has a memorial part for a person who used to live there and also a staff member. Sometimes in the summer and warmer months we bring chairs and sit out here.
  • We have a big car park at the front of the house
    What is important to us


We have ages from 29 all the way to 68 so have lots of life experience, routines and habits we do.


We have some communication difficulties which sometimes leads us to become anxious if you cannot help us with what our needs are, or you miss our small gestures of communication which could be a small physical cue not verbal.

Staff are trained and coached in mandatory care skills such as first aid.

And are buddies up to with experienced staff to ensure they get to know our little cues and ways of speaking and non verbal communication as well as routines and wishes.
