Data Protection Officer
Hybrid Working - 2/3 days a week on-site in Warwickshire

Join a company committed to providing essential business services to international companies establishing, expanding, and growing in the UK. This company is dedicated to assisting international businesses in navigating the UK market. Currently looking for an experienced Data Protection Controller, preferably with a background in Consultancy, to ensure client companies adhere to relevant regulations and laws, allowing them to focus on their core business activities.
- Collaborate with the Head of Governance and CEO as a subject matter expert (SME) in UK GDPR and other relevant laws.
- Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify and mitigate data protection risks.
- Develop and maintain policies, procedures, and documentation related to data protection.
- Stay updated on changes in data protection laws and regulations and ensure company compliance.
- Serve as the main point of contact for data protection inquiries and incidents, coordinating responses as necessary.
- Proficient in UK data protection and privacy regulations, with a solid understanding of GDPR and other applicable frameworks.
- Demonstrated experience in implementing and managing data protection programs in a corporate setting.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, capable of collaborating effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with a sharp attention to detail.
- Relevant certification/degree in the legal or business field.
