Job Title: Area Site Technician

Job Description:

Looking for a skilled Area Site Technician with experience in commercial maintenance. Join a company that focuses on enhancing your skills through training and development opportunities.

Responsibilities:

  • Work in commercial environments performing Fabric Engineer tasks and minor remedial work
  • Attend various sites in Abingdon and surrounding areas
  • Plumbing tasks like installing new fixtures, carpentry work, tiling, and painting

Package includes:

  • Salary: £38k
  • Core hours: Monday to Friday
  • Benefits: 25 days annual leave + 8 Bank Holidays, Pension Scheme
  • Training and Development Courses provided
  • Use of pool van while on duty
  • No call-out required

Requirements / Qualifications:

Fabric Engineer roles may not always require formal qualifications, but having them can be advantageous. Candidates with experience are also welcome.

Qualifications:

  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 or 3 Plumbing and Heating
  • City & Guilds / NVQ Level 2 Painting & Decorating

Day to Day Duties:

  • Plumbing - various tasks including installations and repairs
  • Carpentry - door installations, lock changes, and furniture assembly
  • Tiling - work on floors, walls, and carpet tiles
  • Painting & Decorating tasks
