Are you an exceptional Principal Data Scientist / Artificial Intelligence Engineer with a passion for leveraging the power of AI and analytics to drive real business value? Our client, a leading IT Consultancy in the UK, is seeking an individual who can bring their deep technical expertise and thought leadership to lead their analytics capability to new heights.

As a Senior Data Scientist / AI Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work with our client's C-suite stakeholders, identify their challenges and opportunities, and propose innovative AI solutions that will propel their business forward.


This role requires you to go through SC Clearance - You must be a British Citizen, or hold ILR VISA, and cannot have been outside the UK for longer than 28 days consecutively in the past 5 years.


Responsibilities:


Lead the large-scale delivery of AI techniques, including machine learning, GenAI, computer vision, and data science, to solve complex business problems.

Engage with clients, presenting work in a compelling and easy-to-understand manner, and maintaining strong relationships with stakeholders.
Build and lead technical teams, provide guidance and leadership, and manage workloads effectively.

Drive business growth by winning work with private and public sector clients, leveraging your expertise in the RFI/RFP process and delivering successful bids.

Showcase our client's capabilities and stay up to date with the latest advancements in AI and analytics by publishing whitepapers, representing the organisation at conferences, and actively participating in the AI community.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including solution architects and software engineers, to develop and deploy AI solutions using cutting-edge technologies and cloud platforms.

Ensure solutions are deployed securely and robustly, working with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD platforms.

Your Skills and Experience:


Proven track record of successfully delivering AI techniques, such as supervised and unsupervised machine learning, deep learning, graph data analytics, and more.

Strong communication skills for effectively presenting complex information to clients and managing stakeholder relationships.
Experience in building and leading technical teams, providing guidance, defining upskilling strategies, and mitigating project risks.

Demonstrated success in winning work with private and public sector clients through the RFI/RFP process, documented bids, and face-to-face presentations.

Proficiency in data science platforms like Databricks, Dataiku, AzureML, SageMaker, and machine learning frameworks like Keras, Tensorflow, PyTorch, and scikit-learn.

Experience deploying solutions to cloud platforms, such as AWS, Azure, and Google Cloud, using tools like Terraform.

Familiarity with technologies like Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD platforms (e.g., Jenkins, Tekton, ArgoCD), and GitHub for robust and secure solution deployment.
