Transport Driver

Transport drivers required for school runs.

DBS check will be made. Training and training courses will be supplied.

Must be reliable, patient, understanding and polite. Must be a good, careful and competent driver.

Must have driving experience & must be over 25 and have held a full license for minimum of a year.

Self employed basis and school term times only. Approximately 38 weeks per year. Monday - Friday.

If you do not already hold a private hire license, we will help you to obtain one. This can take a couple of months to complete and would include having a medical, a police (DBS) check and a driving standards test

Vehicle provided. No costly repair bills or fuel to have to pay out.


You will be required to safely operate a school transport vehicle on designated routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations.

Ensure the safety and well-being of students during transportation. Communicate effectively with students, parents and school staff. Adhere to the schedule and ensure timely pick-up and drop-off of students. Maintain a clean and well kept vehicle. Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle's road worthiness, vehicle refueling and checking fluid levels. Regular checking of tyres.

Must have good driving record. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Semi retired or retired person wishing to go back to work part or full time welcome to apply.

Salary:
£12.50 per hour

  • Monday to Friday
  • No weekends
