Blue Arrow are currently recruiting for Train Station Service Operatives to work with our client located in Edinburgh.

Location

EH1

Hours
04:45am -13:30pm & 09:4- 18:30pm shifts

40 hours a week working typically 1 in 2 weekends required.

5 out 7 days a week

Contract:

Temp to Perm - can be offered a permanent contract with site after 12 successful weeks of timesheets completed

Responsibilities:

  • Picking food orders (pre packaged items) and deliver to the trains.
  • Taking orders from the online system
  • Preparing trolleys according to orders
  • Delivering trolleys to the platforms
  • Making sure the working area is well kept and general duties are completed.
  • Quality checks of fridge temperatures and recording the data
  • IT Literate with understanding of Microsoft software office packages such as word and excel.
  • Reliable and punctual
  • Basic Food Hygiene Certificate Level 1 (Blue Arrow can process)
  • Be able to work as part of team and on their own to complete tasks
  • Must be available to work weekends
  • Good personal hygiene standards
  • Effective communication skills of reading and writing
  • Ability to follow Health & Safety in the workplace
