Do you fancy working with a brilliant team of software engineers dedicated to creating top-notch software, designed by developers for developers?


You'll be strengthening our capacity to identify and resolve potential performance bottlenecks, and ensure optimal performance across all our systems.

You'll be applying your expertise in black box testing and load testing to ensure our systems are not only robust but also scalable to meet future demands.

Additionally you'll be analysing telemetry data from monitoring platforms to gain deeper insights into operational characteristics of our platforms.

What you'll be doing:

nLeveraging APM tools to monitor real-time system performance and preemptively address potential issues.nDeveloping and implementing strategies for system enhancements, focusing on improving performance and reducing latency.nLeading efforts in capacity planning to ensure our infrastructure meets current and future operational demands efficiently.nWorking closely with development, operations, and product teams to align performance goals with business objectives and customer needs.


What you need:

nExtensive experience in performance testing and optimization, particularly within cloud environments.nHands-on experience APM tools, DataDog preferably.nExperience with Python, and Locust for load testing.nExcellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and report on findings and recommendations.


Location:
nYou can work from anywhere on the island of Ireland, with in-person meetings from time to time in Belfast.

Interview process:
n3 rounds - 30 min intro chat followed by a technical round. Final culture-fit round at the end.

nWe are cloud-native, born in AWS, and embrace their services across our platform. Our technology stack includes Python, Django, ECS, Postgres, Kinesis, Cloudfront, Flink, Elastic Search, Lambda, Amazonmq, Terraform, and Postgres. Tooling includes Datadog, Linear, Slack, Notion and CircleCI.
