My client specialises in bespoke properties throughout East Kent, so they are looking for someone who has experience in a Construction background and not a developer.
They exceed over 250 units per year and specialise in housing ranging from small 2-bed homes, right up to multi-million-pound homes.
Working hours:
As a Senior Materials Plant Buyer, you'll be required to work Monday - Friday 8:00 am - 5:30 pm. My client offers flexible working hours.
The successful Senior Materials Plant Buyer will be offered:
- Salary is depending on your level of experience, but you would be expected to earn £50,000
- £60,000
- Car allowance
- Health care after 1 year of service
- Pension
To be considered for the Senior Materials Plant Buyer role you must have:
- Extensive experience in a Buying role within the Construction industry
- Experience with bespoke house designs ranging from £350,000 right up to £2m/£3m homes.
- Experience in running and managing a team
- Knowledge of market rates and prices
- You must be very invested in your career and driven
- Full driving licence and use of own vehicle
As a Senior Materials Plant Buyer, your role will involve:
- Working alongside the technical team
- Working with some very prestige housing developments
- Negotiating rates, sales and tender enquiries
- Procure materials packages
- Liaise with site teams
- Visiting the site when needed
- Produce schedules for material enquiries, sending to suppliers for costing and assessing quotations and suppliers' schedules to ensure they are correct
