Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Animal Caretaker to join our team.

As an Animal Caretaker, you will be responsible for providing excellent care and support to our animals, ensuring their well-being and comfort.

Duties:

• Provide daily care and feeding for animals, including dogs, cats, and small mammals
• Clean and maintain animal enclosures, ensuring a safe and sanitary environment
• Monitor animal behavior and report any changes or concerns to the supervisor
• Administer medications or treatments as directed by veterinary staff
• Assist with grooming, bathing, and basic veterinary procedures
• Exercise animals regularly to promote physical health and mental stimulation
• Interact with animals to provide socialization and enrichment
• Assist with the intake and adoption process for animals
• Maintain accurate records of animal care, medications, and treatments Qualifications:
• Previous experience in animal care or related field preferred
• Strong passion for animal welfare and commitment to providing quality care
• Excellent customer service skills when interacting with pet owners or potential adopters
• Basic knowledge of veterinary procedures and ability to follow instructions from veterinary staff
• Ability to handle animals of various sizes and temperaments safely
• Comfortable with heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) when handling supplies or moving animals
• Ability to work in a fastpaced environment while maintaining attention to detail Note: All positions must be paid, including internship positions.
