Are you passionate about working with children?

Little Sunflowers is a fun dance after school club. It is a safe and friendly space where children can explore different styles of dance and topics. The session's have a nice mixture of games, learning movement and creating together.

The focus is very much about making it fun, uplifting and inspiring for children, with weekly awards, sticker charts and end of term performances/presentations for grown ups.


We are looking for energetic, motivating and reliable individuals who will work alongside a lead teacher, to assist the delivery of the sessions.

Some of the assistant's responsibilities will be,

  • Greeting children/grown ups and making them feel welcome
  • Ensuring children are following the guidelines to be safe during practical
  • Encouraging children, motivating them and helping them in dance activities
  • Making sure the space is being looked after, hazard free and left clean and tidy
  • Help with the delivery of games, dance choreography, creative tasks
  • Having an input with the weekly awards
  • Organising the end of term performance with the lead teacher

Job Type:
Part-time

Part-time hours: 1.25 per week

Salary:
£5.28-£10.42 per hour

Experience:

  • Dance: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

  • DBS (preferred)
