Location / Role Specific InformationThis Business Development Associate (BDA) role supports the Clinical Trial Division in the Bioservices and transportation team within the Pharma Services Group (PSG) at Thermo Fisher Scientific. Candidates with experience in Bioservices, Biobank, cold chain storage, transportation, or logistics are encouraged to apply.
The ideal candidate will work remotely from Europe.
How will you make an impact?
We are seeking a skilled hunter familiar with the life sciences sector. This individual will identify new opportunities within BioServices and transportation in the Pharma Services Group. The BDA will collaborate with multiple Account Executives (AEs) to drive growth and support our clients' mission to create a Healthier, Cleaner, and Safer world.
What will you do:
- Research, identify, and qualify BioServices and transportation opportunities within the assigned territory for alignment with Pharma Services Group (PSG)
- Engage potential client companies with a tailored message about PSG and its value proposition
- Collaborate with Account Executives (AEs) and subject matter experts (SMEs) to explore project opportunities and provide necessary information
- Collect data to prepare requests for proposals (RFPs) in Salesforce
- Utilize business intelligence platforms and digital tools to discover and progress new opportunities
EducationBachelor's degree in a related science field, such as pharmaceutics, chemistry, or biology preferred.
ExperiencePrevious experience in the life sciences industry, particularly in pharmaceuticals and biotechnology, including cell and gene therapy or clinical supply chain. Experience in cold storage, logistics, or supply chain outside the life sciences will also be considered. Sales experience is a plus. Experience with CDMO services is beneficial but not required.
Knowledge, Skills, AbilitiesProspecting skills, sales acumen, self-motivation, effective communication, and data management proficiency. Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms is desired.
