KDC Cleaning one of the counties leading commercial cleaning companies covering the whole of Kent and Essex, employing over 150 people.

We are looking for an experienced, driven and friendly accounts/payroll assistant to join our team here based in Ashford, Kent.

Roles and Responsibilities...

  • Checking the number of hours employees have worked
  • Calculating wages and salaries
  • Issuing employees' wages by cheque or electronic transfer
  • Collaborating with the human resources department to maintain employee data
  • Calculating pay raises, shift payments and overtime compensation
  • Issuing tax forms and related documentation and assisting employees to complete them
  • Deducting tax and insurance payments
  • Resolving issues employees have with timesheets, pay slips and other payroll matters
  • Changing employee bank records when necessary to process payments accurately
  • Initiating direct deposits
  • Checking incoming and outgoing payments for accuracy
  • Compiling reports on sales, expenditure, marketing and other accounting activity for senior management
  • Managing incoming post and ensuring that queries are allocated to the correct department
  • Dealing with incoming invoices
  • Reconciling accounting data to ensure accuracy
  • Creating and maintaining spreadsheets
  • Using accounting software
  • Generating invoice's
  • Credit control
