Responsibilities:

  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
  • Accept cash, credit, or debit card payments and provide change
  • Maintain accurate cash register balances
  • Ensure the security of all transactions and cash handling procedures
  • Respond to customer inquiries and provide information about products or services
  • Maintain a clean and organized checkout area
  • Assist with inventory management and stocking merchandise when needed

Requirements:

  • Previous experience as a Cashier or in a similar role preferred
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Strong numerical skills and ability to handle cash accurately
  • Familiarity with pointofsale systems
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously

  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to stand for long periods of time
  • Must be at least 18 years old as the position requires the ability to serve alcohol and cigarettes
  • Availability to work weekends
