Supported Assistant Practitioner: £26,421 to £28,770 per annum (Scale F)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Community Assistant Practitioner to become part of our highly motivated and innovative team consisting of Social Workers, Occupational Therapists, and Assistant Practitioners. Our team also focuses on building strong partnerships with service users and their families, striving for positive outcomes that provide the best value for money. As part of our team, you will work with complex cases, applying your knowledge of relevant acts and regulations while demonstrating excellent time management and IT skills.

All new employees will receive support to familiarize themselves with Norfolk County Council's processes and protocols. Covering South Norfolk, our team utilizes the Care Act to assess and support adults in the community.

Key requirements for this role include excellent communication, record-keeping, and keyboard skills, as well as previous experience working with vulnerable individuals. A dedication to exceptional customer service and familiarity with the Department's eligibility criteria are also essential. If you have the right skills and experience, you may be offered the role of Supported Assistant Practitioner (Grade F) and expected to complete our Assistant Practitioner development programme. Successful completion of the program will allow you to progress to Assistant Practitioner (Grade G).
