Peripatetic Advanced Support Worker


This is a great role for someone looking for a new challenge at a company that cares about you Working as a
Peripatetic Advanced Support Worker, you will be travelling to local services across Flintshire, Wrexham, Denbighshire & Conwy to provide support to vulnerable people in their own homes.

Calls are generally a minimum of 2 hours per service user where you will provide safe and positive support in all aspects of daily living, ensuring physical, emotional and social needs are met in accordance with their support plans to help them live as independently as possible.

You will need to have an NVQ Level 3 to be considered for this role.

PLEASE NOTE:

Our pay rates are exclusive of holiday pay meaning you also get paid for when you take holidays, unlike some roles advertised on indeed.

WE ARE NOT ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FROM PEOPLE THAT REQUIRE SPONSORSHIP AT THIS TIME.

Shifts
Monday to Sunday on a rolling rota, visits will be at various times of the day.

Duties

  • Provide support and assistance to individuals with physical or intellectual disabilities
  • Help individuals participate in social and recreational activities
  • Accompany individuals to appointments and outings
  • Monitor and report any changes in behaviour or health status
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for individuals
  • Provide people with medication when required (PEG etc)

Requirements:

  • Previous experience working with individuals with disabilities


 NVQ Level
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently
  • Compassionate and patient demeanor
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends
  • Use of a company vehicle if required or paid mileage

Pay:
£12.70-£13.20 per hour

Expected hours: 37.5 per week
