Our client is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Part-time Learning Disabilities Support Worker to join our team in Penzance. In this role, you will provide essential support to an individual with autism and an acquired brain injury.
Benefits:
- Starting rate of £12.00 £13.00 per hour
- 22 hours over 2 weeks to include 2 x sleeps
- Regular pay reviews
- Free enhanced DBS check and training provided.
- Shift patterns TBC and will include weekend working on a rotational basis.
- Friendly and supportive team environment
- Ongoing training and support
- Part time permanent contract with potential for full time for the right candidate

- Bonus for recommending employees.
Responsibilities:
- Provide 1 to 1 support from , including sleepovers and covering
- Offer skilled, timely, and patient emotional support to help the service user manage distress and understand daily routines.
- Assist with maintainingthe service user's home and health, while empowering him to make decisions about his life.
- Engage him in activities he enjoys, such as attending Pirates matches, watching sports on TV, cooking, gardening, and woodworking projects.
- Follow a rolling pattern of shifts, ensuring consistent and reliable support
Requirements:
- Enhanced DBS check and subscription to the Update Service.
- Two satisfactory references.
- A genuine passion for the care sector and helping people.
- Flexible to tasks and working hours.
- Full UK Driving License and own vehicle.
- Happy to work weekends on rotation.
- Must have the right to work and not require sponsorship.
