Job Role:
Supported Housing Worker

Additional information:

  • Oncall (1 in every 4 weeks), £100/week when oncall
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is required business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work

The Role:


As a Supported Housing Worker, your role is to deliver person-centred, high-quality support and housing management to single homeless clients with low to medium-level needs.

Your objective is to assist clients in achieving sustainable progress towards greater independence within specified timeframes.

Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out any referrals coming into the service following the assessment process
  • Implement and monitor client support plans and risk assessments
  • Ensure all safeguarding procedures and service policies are followed
  • To give clients advice, information and provide an enabling service so that they can access appropriate services
  • Responsible for the daytoday health and safety and safe running of the service including liaison with external contractors

Qualifications / Requirements:

  • Experience working with vulnerable adults and/or people with complex needs
  • Able to build effective relationships with clients and services in order to develop pathways to enable clients to make positive changes
  • A valid UK driving licence and access to own vehicle is required business insurance will be required for roles involving travel to work
