Position Overview
As a Deputy Manager, you will play a key role in managing the daily operations of the home and upholding compliance with regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in overseeing the home's day-to-day functions in alignment with regulatory standards.
  • Participate in creating personalized care plans for each child.
  • Supervise and motivate a team of care professionals to maintain high standards.
  • Organize staff meetings and training sessions to enhance professional growth.
  • Collaborate with external entities for comprehensive care coordination.
  • Manage resources efficiently to optimize the home's operations.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 2 years in a leadership role within a residential childcare setting.
  • Proficiency in handling emotional and behavioral challenges in children.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
  • Capability to build positive relationships with all stakeholders.
  • Relevant qualifications in childcare or social work are preferred.

Working Hours

  • Full-time position with 40 hours per week (flexible arrangements available).

Compensation

  • Competitive annual salary of £40,000.
  • Enjoy 20 days of leave in addition to bank holidays.
