Competative Pay

Duties:

  • Constructing walls, partitions, fireplaces, chimneys, and other structures using bricks, concrete blocks, and natural stones
  • Cutting and shaping bricks to fit around windows, doors, and corners
  • Laying bricks in rows, designs, or shapes as per blueprints or specifications
  • Mixing mortar and cement to desired consistency for bricklaying
  • Repairing existing brickwork by replacing bricks, pointing joints, and sealing cracks
  • Operating hand tools such as trowels, hammers, chisels, and levels
  • Utilising power tools like saws and drills for cutting and shaping bricks
  • Working on various surfaces including walls, floors, roofs, and patios

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Brick Mason or similar role
  • Indepth knowledge of masonry materials and techniques
  • Competent with power tools such as saws and drills
  • Ability to work at heights and on different surfaces including roofs
  • Strong attention to detail and precision in brick placement

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday
  • Weekend availability

Experience:

  • Bricklaying: 1 year (preferred)

Licence/Certification:

  • CSCS (required)
