Information about the job:

Hours: 0.4 FTE - 2 days per week.

We are looking to appoint a teaching colleague to join our Inclusion team as the new whole school SENCo. You will have experience as an excellent classroom practitioner and ideally have experience within SEN and inclusion within your current role. With tailored support, we will further develop you and give you the skills, encouragement and experience within the profession to continue to learn and care.

We actively welcome interest from colleagues who already hold the National SENCO award.

You will:


• Be fully committed to our school and our ethos


• Have an excellent understanding of SEN Code of Practice and procedures


• Be a skilled and experienced teacher with exemplary classroom practice, and the skills to be able to coach and develop this within others


• Have a strong track record in making an impact on pupils' progress


• Have excellent communication, organisation and interpersonal skills


• Be able to lead, motivate and inspire others to achieve excellence


• Be innovative and have a passion for high quality education for all
