Role SnapshotWorking for South Norfolk and Broadland Councils you will be responsible for co-ordinating the work of a team of Community Support Assistants within the Help Hub and Communities Team. This will include liaison with other departments in the Councils to ensure the smooth operation of the Homes for Ukraine project

What you'll be doing

  • Line managing a team of Community Support Assistants
  • Working closely with colleagues in the wider Help Hub as required and liaising with other departments as necessary where work relates to Homes for Ukraine
  • Receiving briefs on projects of work from Help Hub and Communities Managers and coordinating work to achieve the desired outcomes
  • Working directly with Community Group Leaders to ascertain any needs for support
  • Working directly with residents to identify or meet needs

You must have

  • Understanding of the Homes for Ukraine scheme
  • Experience of managing a team
  • An ability to manage data through digital systems
  • A kind and empathetic approach to others
  • Excellent communication skills
  • A good standard of literacy
  • Ability to organise own workload and the workload of others
  • A full driving license
