We are currently looking for a freelance assistant Florist to support during the Valentine's Day period. Floristry experience, passion and flexibility are vital for this role due to the demanding nature of Valentine's Day. We're looking for someone who's willing to learn, motivated by challenges and inspired by fresh opportunities.Role requirements
- Experience in hand tied bouquets
- Flexibility to work on number of different roles in short notice
- Computer literate with a good level of written and spoken English.
- Punctual, reliable and calm under pressure.
- An eye for detail
Responsibilities:
- Create bouquets following our bouquet guide
- Gift wrapping bouquets and writing gift messages
- Liaise logistics of bouquet deliveries with courier driver
- Updating status of deliveries using our online planner
- Always keep an eye on the quality of flowers the florists use.
- Treat flowers carefully and after making an arrangement put any unused flowers back in water.
Job Types:
Temporary contract, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 4 days
Salary:
£12.00-£15.00 per hour
Schedule:
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Battersea: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
Experience:
- Florist: 1 year (preferred)
