Salary - Up to £30,000 including OTE plus Company Car and Fuel Card.
Based out of the Rosyth and Barrhead branches, you will be covering the whole of Scotland

Since 1996 when Wise Property Care Ltd was formed we have built alongside our Presevation arm of the firm, our leading structural waterproofing division, Wise Basement Systems and with continued success and growth, we are now looking to recruit the very best of you.

Main Purpose and Function:

Working with the Local Management and other estimators to increase sales in mainly waterproofing but secondary in Timber Decay and Damp proofing by sourcing, specifying and estimating tender opportunities.

We provide solutions to water penetration and property preservation in premises throughout the UK (This Role being based in Scotland).

Our customers range from large national property managers and construction companies to private consumers.
We have a network of field based surveyors backed up by our waterproofing estimating team. Based in Barrhead we have an opportunity to expand the team and recruit and train an Estimator.

What will you be doing?

• Survey the properties of existing and potential customers and complete tenders / Waterproofing designs.
• Continue to nurture our existing client base and build strong relationships with new potential clients
• Complete tenders for commercial clients including waterproofing system designs
• Carry out site visits to monitor progress and liaise with clients regularly for progress reviews whilst managing project delivery
• Be able to learn and act on your own initiative with tenacity and self motivation.
• Respond to all leads in a professional and timely manner and arrange appointments to visit customers.
• Be personable and able to form strong working relationships with good communication skills key.
• Source tender / quotation opportunities for the business by:

(i) Staying in regular contact with existing / past customers to ensure we are invited to quote for opportunities
(ii) Making use of development tools such as LinkedIn to find new business opportunities
(iii) Working with Commercial team to ensure the business is registered on all relevant portals to receive waterproofing tender opportunities

• Prepare quotations from BoQ, specifications and drawings, ensuring they are compliant with Rentokil Initial Group pricing policies and contract terms.
• Liaise with Local Managing Surveyor/Commercial Manager where required throughout the estimating process
• Ensure Health and Safety policies and procedures are adhered to at all times
• Maintain high levels of communication at all levels throughout the estimating process Undertake any such other duties as may be reasonably requested within the purview of the role.

Requirements:

You will have:

• Relevant Construction Experience / interest in construction
• Experience / interest in structural waterproofing
• Ability to read drawings, measure and setout
• Must be willing to work towards relevant industry qualifications
• Have a Full UK driving license for at least 2 years and looking for a career in sales & management
• A cando attitude, and the ability to use your own initiative
• Great communication and customer service skills with a keen, enthusiastic and friendly approach
