Medical Records Clerk to join our expanding team.


About us


The New Foscote Hospital was established in Banbury over 40 years ago and has provided services and treatments to thousands of people from across the region.

We have over 70 consultants, all of whom are leaders in their specialist fields and choose to hold their private practices here, working alongside our friendly, highly qualified, and experienced nursing and support teams.


The Role


Attention to detail is essential as well as a positive attitude and a desire to see jobs through to a conclusion.

The appointee may at time have to go the extra mile in order to get notes delivered and to ensure that patient care is not restricted as a result of notes being unavailable at time of clinic.


Duties Include

  • Assist colleagues in wards and outpatient administration at the hospital and at the support offices in Banbury
  • Ensuring accurate recording & circulation of hospital notes
  • File all patient case notes & conduct regular audits to ensure all paperwork is up to date
  • Complete all ward filing in line with hospital policies
  • Scan notes of patients whose treatment is completed

  • Experienced in administration in a hospital environment
  • Organised, diligent & can strictly adhere to processes & procedures
  • Knowledgeable of healthcare & patient confidentiality issues
  • Ability to use scanners
  • Skilled at inputting, pulling & analysing data using Microsoft Excel and word

£23,400.00 per year
