To achieve progressive growth within the distribution channel on a monthly, quarterly and annual basis by creating and developing business opportunities nationwide.
National Distribution Manager Primary Job Responsibilities and MeasurementCreating new and developing existing distribution channels nationwide.
Identifying new customers for their products and services as well as providing the necessary technical and pricing information to gain business support & training provided.
Self-generation of sales leads.Following up on sales leads provided by the Marketing Department and Internal Sales team
Identifying new areas of growth within the marketplace, product mix and new markets.
Develop solutions / project sales, ensuring their products gain maximum exposure.
Liaise with internal and external sales team on management of distribution business.
Agree rebate deals that will be profitable and help increase market share.
Participation in weekly/monthly Sales Meetings.
Liaise with Purchasing Department in order to ensure correct levels of distribution products are stocked.
Organisation of marketing and promotional literature.
National Distribution Manager Scope of Role
Increasing business levels and achieving the maximum GPM for all their products.
Maintaining good customer relations with clients.
Developing their products presence in the marketplace.
Keeping up-to-date with technical developments and information on Group products. Providing feed-back on competitor products and activity
National Distribution Manager Skills, Qualifications & Expertise
Highly motivated with a desire to achieve targets.
Trustworthy and honest.
Appropriate technical aptitude and/or qualifications.
Proven ability to manage own work and visit programme.
Ability to establish good working relationships and good negotiation skills.
Strong IT skills in Excel and Word and E-mail.
Knowledge of SAP an advantage.
Loyal and company-focused.
Full and preferably clean driving licence.
