Gas Engineer Role at a Large Gas Company
We have partnered with a leading Gas company that has secured a substantial contract to undertake extensive works on Ideal boilers in the SP postcode area.
Here are the key details of the job:
- The project involves servicing over 500,000 boilers nationwide.
- This is a sub-contract position guaranteed for a minimum of 18 months.
- Engineers will be responsible for installing an overheat stat on each boiler, a task that is both efficient and straightforward.
- The expected workload is 10+ boiler installations per day in new residential developments.
For this role, no formal interview is required. Instead, candidates will undergo a brief phone discussion with the area manager followed by a short induction process.
Engineers applying for this sub-contract opportunity must present the following documents at the induction:
- ACS (excluding NO HTR1 & CKR1)
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Right to Work documentation (either Passport or Birth Certificate)
- Public Liability Insurance
- Business Motor Insurance
- Calibration Certificate
- DBS Disclosure
Payment for engineers will be processed every Friday with a one-week delay through R9 Recruitment. Payment will be made either as gross earnings to a corporate bank account for Limited Companies or via an Umbrella Company CIS for Sole Traders.
