NHS Lanarkshire are looking to recruit a full time, fixed term (6 months) Clinical Secretary (Booking Office) based at Wishaw University Hospital within the surgical department.

The post holder will provide a comprehensive administrative service within the department to staff who utilise the endoscopy units in all three sites

Knowledge, Training and/or Experience required to do the job

  • Good basic education.
  • Understanding of a range of work procedures, all of which are nonroutine, requiring an intermediate level of theoretical knowledge
  • Expertise knowledge gained through experience of the endoscopy service within NHSL
  • Expertise knowledge gained through experience of the range of administration procedures.
  • Knowledge of Software programmes
  • Understanding of medical terms and knowledge acquired through further experience.
  • Good organisational and communication skills
