We are looking for a dedicated Group Management Accountant to join the team.
The work environment is extremely positive and supportive and focused on ensuring the financial stability and effective management of their operations.
This role involves providing essential financial and budgetary insights to assist the Head of Finance.Main Duties:
Compile and review financial and management reports
Oversee the preparation and reconciliation of quarterly VAT returns
Perform monthly bank reconciliations
Handle payroll processing and headcount reporting for the UK division
Authorise financial transactions and comply with EU VAT regulations
Complete statistical returns for the Office for National Statistics (ONS)
Support budgeting, forecasting, and cashflow management activities
Prepare audit documentation and manage intercompany transactions
Execute ad-hoc tasks to support the Head of Finance and other management members
Provide backup and general assistance to the team as required
Requirements
Professional accounting qualification (CIMA, ACA, ACCA) or equivalent experience
In-depth knowledge of UK GAAP and FRS 102 standards
Proven experience in managing a small team
Intermediate to advanced skills in Excel and strong overall IT skills
Comprehensive understanding of VAT regulations
Experience with Sage 200 is a plus
Proactive learner with the ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Strong team player with a flexible and proactive approach
