Description

  • These three positions at Dovedale Nursery are an opportunity to gain experience and childcare qualifications in a friendly nursery which has been graded 'Outstanding' by Ofsted. Whilst training supervision and support will be offered by senior nursery staff.
  • Dovedale Nursery
is a full day nursery which is run by Chelmsford College. We are looking for some dynamic and energetic people to join our team. A willing to learn attitude is preferred but lots of opportunities to learn on the job from a very experienced team of childcare professionals will be provided. We are looking for someone with a passion for shaping the lives of young people.
  • What the job entails:
  • We care for children aged 4 years to 11 years in our nursery and Out of School settings. If successful, you would be expected to take part in daily tasks such as supporting children across the nursery and Out of schools which will allow you to gain experience across this wide range of ages. This will involve planning fun activities, supervising children in the gardens, preparing and serving meals, administering first aid (training given upon appointment), clean as you go responsibilities and health and safety daily checks. There is also an opportunity to learn about and work with children with Special Educational needs (SEN).
  • Qualities
  • You would need to be flexible, and able to take on a number of roles while working alongside the rest of the team. You need to have good communication skills both verbal and written and be willing to work as part of a wellestablished team. We are looking for someone with enthusiasm and willingness to get stuck in. The successful applicant will be professional and friendly, reflective and hard working.
