IWSR Drinks Market Analysis:

The IWSR is the most trusted, accurate and widely used source for beverage alcohol trends in the world. We help our clients to benchmark performance, identify market entry opportunities and stay on top of innovation for product development.

We are the only research company to visit and speak with the key players (including stakeholders such as importers, producers, distributors, retailers, duty-free operators) in over 160 countries globally each year. As a consulting manager with a focus on EMEA and APAC, this role is critical in supporting all consulting activities in the IWSR's most important regions, liaising with multi-disciplined teams in the HQ and regional offices of multinationals and domestic producers.

The successful candidate will be expected to deliver high level consulting output, develop key client relationships and build internal team capabilities. They will need to be comfortable and confident in intellectually challenging discussions with senior stake-holders within client organisations, and add value to the IWSR brand in these interactions.

  • Maintain continuous communication with clients to ensure projects are on-track and aligned with client expectations
  • Contribute to internal product and business improvement plans
  • Manage and develop more junior analysts and team members, including ensuring quality control for their work

Required Skills and Experience

  • Ability to define, drive and deliver projects to completion leveraging resources across multiple geographies
  • Steadfast curiosity and ability rapidly to model, analyse, interpret and distill large amounts of data (category x market as well as consumer research) into clear insights and recommendations
  • Proven ability to both deliver projects individually as well as through others
  • Outstanding verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills, can communicate sophisticated concepts and findings simply and succinctly as clearly-expressed insights
  • Ability to give and receive feedback in a constructive manner
  • Can think on their feet with logic and fact backed responses to challenging questions
  • Bachelor's degree required, masters level and/or professional qualifications advantageous
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience, preferably in a top-tier consultancy or internal insights role
