Kenect Recruitment are hiring for our client in Aston, Birmingham for a Sewing Machine OperatorWorking in a face pace warehouse environment for a company that specialise in the making of rugs.Shift: Monday to Friday 7:30am - 5pmSalary: £11.50Responsibilities:

  • Operate and monitor machines in a manufacturing or warehouse setting
  • Set up machines according to specifications and ensure proper calibration
  • Fabricate products by adjusting machine settings and performing quality checks
  • Monitor machine operations and troubleshoot issues as they arise
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance
  • Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment
Qualifications:
  • Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar role preferred
  • Knowledge of machine operation and basic troubleshooting techniques
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work well in a team environment
