Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Demolition Worker to join our team.
As a Demolition Worker, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently demolishing structures and preparing sites for new construction projects.
This is a physically demanding role that requires knowledge of various construction trades and the ability to operate a range of tools and equipment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform demolition tasks according to project plans and specifications
- Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
- Tear down walls, roofs, floors, and other structures using appropriate techniques
- Sort and dispose of debris in accordance with waste management guidelines
- Follow safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment
- Collaborate with team members to complete projects on schedule
- Assist with site cleanup and preparation for new construction
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in demolition or related construction trades
- Knowledge of fabricating, masonry, carpentry, painting, electrical, plumbing, and welding techniques
- Proficiency in operating hand tools, power tools, and heavy machinery
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Physical stamina to perform manual labor for extended periods of time
- Excellent problemsolving skills and ability to adapt to changing project requirements
Note:
This is a paid position. Compensation will be discussed during the interview process.
Job Type:
Temporary contract
Contract length: 3 weeks
Salary:
£14.00-£15.00 per hour
Expected hours: 39 per week
