Monday to Friday 8.30am - 5pm

Purpose:


To provide administrative support across the group technical team to ensure that the requirements of the Company Management System and ISO 22,000 are adhered to at all times, that accurate information is calculated and recorded on finished product specifications and other compliance documentation and assisting the team in the timely delivery of targets.


About the role:


Reporting to the Consumer Technologist and based at the Sittingbourne office, you will work closely with all areas of the business to assist in maintaining our certification standards, provide due diligence and ensure legal compliance through the use of digital and paper based systems.


  • Main responsibilities:
  • Recipes
  • Creation of controlled recipes for operational use and amending as appropriate as per RFC.
  • Requests for change (RFC)
  • Ensuring all RFC's are signed by the appropriate people when received, logged and then actioned in a timely manner. This will include amendments to recipes, specifications, labels and CMS documents.


Reports
  • Completing and providing data analysis to members of the Group Technical team for reporting purposes or further analysis.
  • Carry out projectbased tasks as required
  • Creation of accurate finished product specifications and label templates for all operational sites for new products in accordance with the timeline requirements working closely with NPD. Ensuring any food safety concerns are raised/actioned as appropriate.
  • Calculation of nutritional content of COOK food using the Dietplan programme and to work out the ingredient declaration order with QUID calculations as required.
  • Ensuring products that require nutritional analysis are highlighted to Ops Tech teams. Responsible to highlight any significant differences to appropriate colleagues for investigation.
  • Coordination of information for initial 200 trials including creation of trial recipe, indication of allergens, 200 label and initial Dietplan report.
  • Develop an understanding of other tasks in the team in order to provide cover as and when needed Food Safety:
  • Carrying out and recording cooking time validations/verifications to ensure that the reheating instructions on packs ensure safe food for the end consumer.
  • Ensuring allergen or food safety concerns for any new products are raised / actioned as appropriate.
  • Prepare and conduct product shelf life trials Health and Safety:
  • To take responsibility for the safety of yourselves and others, adhere to all safety instructions and seek to improve standards wherever necessary. Sustainability and Ethics

Salary:
£24,000.00 per year
