If that's the case, Teaching Personnel could have the perfect opportunity for you. Currently, we are recruiting on behalf of an Ofsted rated "GOOD" Secondary School in Darwen, Lancashire, seeking a Pastoral Leader to join the team starting September 2024.

The selected candidate will be responsible for the organization and management of a year group comprising up to 130 students. Collaborating with Form Tutors and Progress Mentors to enhance the educational experience of the students within the specific year group.

Main responsibilities and duties:

  • Collaborating closely with teachers and support staff to deliver personalized learning whenever feasible.
  • Establishing attainment level targets.
  • If needed, take on the responsibilities of a Form Tutor as per the school's tutoring program.
  • Prepare assignments for students who miss classes following the school's behavior and teaching guidelines.
  • Prioritize the health and safety of students at all times and comply with the School's Health and Safety protocols.

All mentioned pay rates will include 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This role is temporary, with a possibility of transitioning to a permanent position in the future.
