Who we are looking for:
Key Accountabilities:

Accounts Receivable

  • Manage the company's debtor accounts and ensure debt is collected from customers within the agreed terms
  • Take the lead role in promptly resolving customer queries on outstanding invoices and liaise with relevant functions for assistance when required
  • Prepare and process reminders, in accordance with established procedures, to expedite payments.
  • Provide information on credit, rebates and claims resolution.
  • Gather credit and/or reference information. Prepare notices and reminders
  • Review and update credit limits and terms on a regular and ongoing basis
  • Reconcile payments and accounts with clients
  • Monitor the progress of the collection procedure in order to make appropriate arrangements, i.e. provision of claims for collection or writingoff of receivables after approval
  • Escalate accounts that are not line with agreed credit terms, both to commercial and management teams

General Ledger

  • Process incoming payments, in accordance with internal procedures
  • Monitor and code incoming payments and journal entries of incoming payments.
  • Collect and file all relevant documents related to payments and invoices to have a traceable record of payments

Reporting

  • Provide regular reports and updates to various stake holders
  • Compile data and prepare standard and special reports, to ensure management receives appropriate information in an accurate and timely manner

Service

  • Provide a high standard of assistance and customer service to both internal and external customers
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure accounts are managed appropriately

Other duties

  • Perform other duties and projects as and when required in finance and administration

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience Requirements:

Essential:

  • Educated to GCSE level, English and Math
  • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly MS Excel
  • A minimum of 2 years' relevant experience
