Are you a friendly and confident individual who is great with people? This role is customer focused and you will be the direct contact for our community. It is a fantastic opportunity as you will be surrounded by exciting roles and businesses, and you can learn from and meet many new people. You don't need to have worked in a coworking space before, but it will be beneficial if you have previous hospitality and/or customer service experience. All training will be provided on the job. You will work closely with the Space Manager/s to become competent in maintaining the space to a high working standard for our clients and ensuring a high level of organisation for a range of front of house and behind-the-scenes administrative tasks.

Duties will include, but are not limited to:

  • Responsibility in ensuring the space is ready for the opening or close of each day (this includes making sure communal surfaces are clear/clean, communal supplies are topped up and ordered, kitchenware are replenished, and bins are maintained)
  • Ensuring the regular / scheduled daily tasks are being carried out (e.g. plant watering, fridge cleaning, admin tasks)
  • Supporting the Space Manager/s by completing adhoc tasks as and when required
  • Answering the space buzzer to allow access to clients, meeting and greeting members and visitors to the space and ensuring their visit runs smoothly
  • Interacting with new member leads on the phone and in person
  • General admin, including photocopying, printing, stock checks and ordering, spreadsheet maintenance
  • Engaging with the community to find collaboration opportunities, support events and identify suitable social media content
  • Identifying and liaising with external companies to carry out essential work internally (for example window cleaners, security services, delivery services)
  • Managing postal systems (for internal and external clients), internal mailing lists and meeting room bookings

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Training will be provided, therefore no specific skills are necessary.
  • Experience in customer service & hospitality is preferable.
  • Understanding of IT and Google Workspace is preferable.
