Laser Engraver

This position will be part of our growing Production Department and will specialise in engraving onto our extensive range of promotional merchandise

What you'll be doing: Load and operate the Yag, Fibre and CO2 laser cutting machines to produce personalised products for our customersOperating Deboss machineSet up, adjust and operate various types of equipment and perform cleans and checksHave jobs signed by QC before bulk printingReading internal job bagsComparing set up and artwork to the job bag providedChecking if stock is correct ie; refill colour, trim, correct amount of stockCompleting job paperwork with details of completed workMaintaining quality of the first signed off penFlagging quality issues to management/QCFilling in record sheets after completion of jobTo ensure your work is checked by QC once job is completedFlagging ANY faults with machine you operating to management ASAPReporting if any part of your job is not prepared/arrived ie stockMaking sure your workstation is tidy. Machine clean and space around it.

You'll be a good fit for this role if you: *Good work ethos*Versatile with 'can-do' attitude – able to work to tight deadlines*Numerate and Accurate*Able to communicate well and work as part of a busy team*Good communication, motivational and time management skills*Operating machinery*Good level of English speaking and writing*Expected to take part in departmental training*Expected to train on various printing machines*Previous experience within a technical role*Ideally have an understanding of dimensions*Excellent PC skills - with the ability to pick up new systems quickly*The ability to work under pressure, whist maintaining high standards*Be fast and accurate when working to the brief.*Live within 45 minutes of our HQ, Aldershot Hampshire.
