The position of Head of Projects Procurement involves establishing the benchmark for procurement excellence, fostering a culture of high performance, and providing outstanding value for clients within the Energy and Infrastructure industries. A pivotal role where collaboration with stakeholders shapes a forward-thinking framework promoting engineering superiority and enhancing global impact.

Your Key Responsibilities

  • Strategic Leadership: Devise and implement procurement strategies for major programmes in alignment with organizational objectives.
  • Market Analysis: Continuously assess market trends, supplier performance, and cost structures to uncover improvement opportunities.
  • Supplier Relationships: Cultivate strategic partnerships with supply chain specialists to ensure value for project customer accounts.
  • Innovation Drive: Introduce and apply inventive procurement solutions utilizing technology to enhance revenue opportunities.
  • Leadership Excellence: Provide genuine leadership to Buyers, empowering them to excel in their roles and foster innovation.

Requirements for the Role

  • Extensive experience in procurement, particularly in large-scale projects or construction procurement.
  • Passion for procurement and supply chain, with a focus on driving enhancements and challenging conventions.
  • Strong leadership skills to guide and support teams and promote collaboration.
  • Knowledge of sustainable procurement practices and stakeholder engagement.
  • MCIPS qualification preferred, along with a valid driving license.
