Job Description:

  • Update and maintain portfolio risk modeling spreadsheets; perform risk analysis on a variety of mandates
  • Produce reports and position summaries as needed
  • Assist in building quantitative tools for better capturing data and enhancing alpha generation
  • Engage with other departments to facilitate portfolio administration such as corporate actions
  • Respond to ad-hoc requests from the team, client portfolio managers, client account managers, operations team, RFP team, and marketing department

Requirements:

  • Interest in financial markets/macro-economics and a desire to learn about investments and the analysis of fixed income markets
  • Advanced working knowledge of Excel
  • Studying towards (or intending to) the IMC and/or CFA qualifications
  • Proactive, fast learning, hard-working, and thorough
  • Team player with effective communication skills; an excellent level of written and verbal communication


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Knowledge of Python or alternative coding language
  • Educated to degree level, preferably with a focus towards data science/finance


Investment Areas:

  • Has responsibility for supporting portfolios within the Global Bonds strategies
