Overview:

You will have the opportunity to work independently, overseeing the maintenance and enhancement of the school grounds, sports fields, and outdoor areas across both School locations.

You will play a crucial role in ensuring that the school premises are secure and suitable for use by students and staff, promptly addressing requests for ground preparation to meet all requisites for a comprehensive sports program while upholding the school's visual appeal to an exceptionally high degree throughout the seasons.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage the schedule of sports fixtures and pitch upkeep to allocate adequate maintenance time for grounds activities.
  • Mark and re-mark pitches for Cricket, Rugby, and Girls Football as required.
  • Prepare facilities for external renters or collaborative events.
  • Provide guidance and supervision to the grounds team members.
  • Ensure the sports grounds are in prime playing condition.
  • Offer recommendations on priorities and oversee the approved annual budget.
  • Supervise and track all materials, supplies, and machinery within your area of supervision.
  • Establish and enforce safety protocols to guarantee staff proficiency with equipment.
