Working with the Head of PMO, we are on the lookout for a PMO Manager to join the SSCL Defence business.


This is a fantastic opportunity for a leader become part of the organisation and make the role their own As PMO Manager, you'll be responsible for day to day running of the PMO Controls and well as leading a team that look after facilities and operationswithin a busy site.


We're seeking an engaging, resilient, hands on and passionate individual, where you'll bring the team and the wider business on a journey of PMO transformation.


What you will be doing:

  • Day to day running of the PMO Controls
  • Working collaboratively with the Head of PMO
  • Supporting, monitoring and controlling the delivery of PMO Control activities
  • Coordinating and directing the PMO team setting clear goals and establishing priorities
  • Managing the facilities and operations team, providing data on processes to drive insights
  • Embedding effective PMO Control activities
  • Implementing continuous improvement initiatives

What you'll bring:

  • Experience of running a Transformation PMO or Programme Management Office with full lifecycle experience
  • Tenacity and resilience having run a PMO previously
  • Experience of supporting gettogreen plans for programmes
  • Risk management, governance and compliance background
  • Experience of supporting cost efficiencies across large complex programmes

  • Facilities and Operations experience

Employment Type:
Perm

Location:
Regular travel to Gosport and working from home. There will be travel to client sites and internal meetings

Salary:
Up to £65,000 depending on experience

Security Clearance Level:
Current SC or willing to go through the vetting process

Benefits:
Car allowance, 25 days annual leave with the option to buy additional days, private medical, life assurance, pension, and generous flexible benefits fund which is 3% of base salary
