Control Now Summary

Control Now (CN) is a regulatory technology business established in 2017 specifically to address investment firm's requirements to submit compliant transaction reports for global reporting regimes such as MIFIR, EMIR, ASIC, MAS and many others.

Control Now are disrupting the current market for Transaction Reporting with its suite of fully automated software delivered as a SAAS solution, addressing each part of the reporting lifecycle; Transform, Submit, Check, Maintain.

Founded in 2017, Control Now offers a mature suite of assurance services (TR Accuracy and TR Completeness) to ensure reporting firms are submitting compliant reports and has recently brought to market its TR Direct reporting suite (TR Transformation and TR Connect) to support firms with BAU reporting.

Role Summary

Control Now (CN) is looking for a Regulatory Affairs Manager to support the business with monitoring and interpreting regulatory change and notifications.

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will act as our eyes and ears to the market, ensuring anything relevant for interpretation is identified, summarised and distributed to all CN stakeholders.

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will play a vital role in supporting the product, marketing and management teams to stay informed with changes in the regulatory reporting market so they can perform their necessary functions.

The Regulatory Affairs Manager will translate the regulatory requirements into a workable input for expanding product accuracy checks and supporting client data transformations. They will also act as the subject matter expert, creating internal Q&As, responding to client queries and advising the Service Delivery team.

The Regulatory Analysts' tasks will include:

· Regulatory Monitoring: Set up channels for monitoring regulatory and technological change. Identify changes of importance for Control Now, then summarize key information before internal distribution.

· Support Product Strategy: Build market commentary into the solution for all users e.g. market best practice, regulator's comments, guidance etc. Recognise opportunities resulting from regulatory change and identify solutions required to support product features.

· Supporting Service Delivery: Supporting the delivery of client data transformation to create compliant ASIC and MAS transaction reports.

· Support Marketing Strategy: Support the marketing team with summarising regulatory change into market-facing comments for distribution via newsletter, blog, and forums.

· Support Management with Setting Vision: Support the management team with monitoring regulatory change needed for making informed decisions on the company's commercial strategy.

Person Specification

· Regulatory Knowledge: minimum 2 years of experience with ASIC and MAS derivatives trades reporting regulatory requirements.

· Business Analysis and Communication: Ability to understand complex documentation related to regulations and to summarise it into digestible content and communicate internally to spread the knowledge. Ability to align the message to different audience types.

· Organisational skills: Ability to plan and prioritise own work, and work independently following strategical goals of the company.

· Ambitious: Ability to show initiative to adapt to challenges presented by a growing business and identify opportunities for personal growth.
