Are you a skilled software architect with experience working on low-level programming?

Do you want to relocate to the land of year-round sunshine and no income tax?


If so, I am currently working with a well-known European powerhouse that has touched down in the UAE and, now that they have boots on the ground, are looking to grow out their software engineering team.

They are looking for a proven Software Architect to work on building their Radar prototype. Have you worked on Radars, IoT, Automated Driving, Aerospace or something similar? Then we're looking for you

We are looking for someone who has a strong understanding of embedded software. You'll be architecting a system that can take data from radar and translate this data into software. This process is very mathematical, so a background in Mathematics, Computer Science or Electrical Engineering is a must.

What You'll DonLead a team of talented software engineers and ensure they have the guidance and supportive culture they need to succeednCollaborate with stakeholders in the business to conduct requirements analysis and transform this into technical requirements and architecturenEnsure documentation across the project is maintained at a high levelnLead from the front Help with code reviewsnEnsure best engineering practices across the projectnOwn the architecture and lead the development of the most mission-critical componentsnLead selection of technology across the project, be on the cutting edge of technologynKeep track of technical debt and make sure it is minimised to ensure the system is maintainable and scalable in the long run

Who You ArenProven experience in Software Architecture and Engineering with Embedded SystemsnA true understanding of Linux Operating Systems and Embedded Development with Linux SystemsnExperience leading a teamnStrong understanding of mathematical concepts and algorithms (think linear algebra, calculus etc.)nExperience with system integration and design patternsnExperience with communication protocols and hardware / software interfaces
