Job Description

We are looking for a Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor to join our team at Piran Meadows Resort in Newquay, Cornwall. Fantastic hourly rate of £11.94

This is a permanent position to work full time hours. This will be 37.5 hours across variable days which will include weekends and bank holidays.

Typical shift patterns will be as below

Week one: Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday.

Week two: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday, Saturday, Sunday

About The Role

Main responsibilities:

The successful Grounds and Maintenance Supervisor will

· Assist and supervisor the maintenance team with the upkeep of company buildings and guest accommodation.

· Respond to maintenance requests from guests on site.

· Complete any necessary paperwork following repairs and maintenance.

· Assist and supervise the grounds team to ensure the appearance of the retreat is kept up to its five star standard.

· Assist with grass cutting and strimming, edging and weeding borders and also clearing pathways.

· Ensure the retreat is kept clear and free of debris.

· Assist with the maintenance and cleaning of all hot tubs on changeover days.

Requirements:

Previous maintenance / grounds experience is preferred. Hot tub maintenance experience is advantageous. A driving licence and the ability to drive is essential for this role due to the use the site buggies / vehicles.

Desired Criteria

  • Previous maintenance / grounds experience is preferred
