Hays are delighted to be representing an established and well-known Private Sector organisation in their search for an experienced Procurement Manager.


Your new role

The main responsibilities for this role are leading tenders, negotiations and supplier evaluations across the branches, developing and monitoring SLAs with external providers and key stakeholders.

Through excellent leadership you will challenge the businessto achieve new levels of success and effectiveness in sourcing and procurement strategies, commercial arrangements, supplier relationships, innovation, and rigor in process and specification challenges.

This role has no line management responsibilities.

What you'll need to succeed:

  • Opex & Capex experience preferred or construction industry experience
  • 3 years experience, preferably across several categories with extensive hands on experience in a similar high value procurement environment
  • Strong analytical skills and sound judgement
  • Experience of leading contract negotiations and contract change
  • CIPS Qualified (desirable)
