A busy main contractor operating at the forefront of the Scottish construction industry is looking to source an Estimator to join their regional office in Aberdeen.


Working with a broad selection of public and private sector clients in the North East, they are seeking an experienced Estimator to aid their continued success in the local area.

As Estimator, you will play a critical role in bolstering their estimating capability and aiding the delivery of well-considered, competitive bids.

You will be responsible for (but not limited to):

  • Contributing to the production of high-quality and cost-effective tenders and building cost estimates from first principles.
  • Liaising with commercial, preconstruction and delivery teams.
  • Ensuring competitive bids are delivered in line with the company's strategic aims and values.
To be considered for this role, you will have:

  • Demonstrable Estimating experience within the construction industry.
  • Proven capability in producing cost estimates from prepared Bills of Quantities and pricing from first principles for multitrade packages.
