I am currently working in partnership with a well established manufacturing business based in North Kent who are looking to recruit a Head of FP&A.


This is a key role within the finance function, providing senior management with the analysis required to make critical business decisions.

Reporting directly to the CFO you will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, timely and relevant financialinformation, determining and maintaining product standard costs and all customer/product P&Ls to underpin price reviews & new business opportunities.


Key duties will include:

  • Working with key stakeholders to complete their forecasts
  • Use commercial, historical and portfolio knowledge to spot/address potential issues/risk and deliver insight
  • Dashboard and reporting development (Power Pivot/advanced Excel) to enhance reports across the Group
  • Setting and maintaining cost allocation model to underpin standard costs of products
  • Product/customer profitability analysis and work with internal stakeholders to improve gross and net margins
  • Product/customer costings/quotes and work with sales team to set pricing
  • Help set productivity/sales bonus/commission targets and help devise sales bonus plans with sales team
  • Responsible for productivity/sales reporting and consequent bonus/commission calculations for both sales and production teams
  • Oversee the data integrity of management systems including pricing, stock, customer and supplier
  • Managing and developing a small team
