LTF Recruitment are seeking an experienced SEN Teaching Assistant to work alongside a fantastic and welcoming team of support staff in an Ofsted rated "outstanding" school in the B6 area.

This school strives to encourage and value every pupil's success and celebrate excellence. The school boasts a well-planned and structured curriculum, with staff that have a passion for learning.

Your Responsibilities:

  • Working closely with pupils with SEN needs including autism, ADHD, and behavioural needs.
  • Assist pupils with remaining engaged in lessons through 1:1 and group interventions.
  • Show yourself as a positive role model, building and maintaining positive relationships with pupils.
  • Work closely with the class teacher to ensure a positive learning environment.
  • Contribute to the school's code of conduct.
  • Support pupils both academically and emotionally.
  • A Teaching Assistant Qualification or Equivalent Degree.
  • Experience working with pupils with SEN.
  • Strong knowledge of Autism, ADHD, Behavioural Needs, and other Learning needs.
  • Able to work both in a team and independently.
  • Can show a positive attitude and a passion for learning.
