Piling Rig Driver

We have an excellent opportunity for individuals from a piling/ground engineering background to join one of the most respected, privately owned piling companies operating in the UK today, G M Piling.


As Piling Rig Driver you will be responsible for safe and successful installation of concrete fight auger piles into the ground using our piling instrumentation system.

This role is therefore site based and you will be predominantly working in the London, Home Counties and East Anglian regions.


Hours and Salary:

  • 50 hours per week
  • Competitive hourly rate

Area of operation:
London, Home Counties and East Anglia

Key Responsibilities (but not limited to)

  • Complying with company Health and Safety procedures,
  • Checking equipment before and after it's used,
  • Ensuring equipment is safe and maintained,
  • Rigging and derigging of the machine,
  • Control movements of piling rig and associated plant around the site,
  • Installation of bored piles,
  • Assisting in any daily duties on site as necessary.
  • Full UK Driving Licence is essential
  • Valid CPCS card (rig operator over 20 tonnes) is essential
  • Experience of Soilmec and/or Llamada rigs preferable
  • Good team working ability
  • Methodical and structured approach to problem solving
