Responsibilities in your new role as Night Porter

  • Coordinate employee schedules to ensure seamless coverage across all shifts
  • Provide ongoing training for employees, conducting regular staff meetings to keep them updated on procedures and policies
  • Maintain high levels of productivity and room cleanliness, ensuring bedrooms and public areas meet hotel standards
  • Manage stock levels of chemicals, consumables, and linen using a meticulous par stocking process
  • Collaborate closely with linen suppliers to ensure timely counts and orders, maintaining optimal levels of linen in alignment with hotel occupancy
